   • 2 green chilies, chopped
   • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
   • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
   • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
   • 1 teaspoon garam masala
   • Salt to taste
   • 2 cups water
   • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
   • 2 tablespoons ghee or oil
2. Instructions:
   1. Soak the Dal: Clean and soak the urad dal in water for 5-6 hours or overnight.
   2. Cook the Dal: In a pressure cooker, add the soaked dal, water, salt, turmeric powder, and ginger-garlic paste. Cook for 3-4 whistles.
   3. Prepare the Tadka: In a pan, heat ghee or oil. Add cumin seeds, and let them splutter. Add chopped onions and green chilies, and sauté until golden brown.
   4. Combine: Add the cooked dal to the pan with the tadka. Mix well and simmer for a few minutes.
