It is a type of root which is grown in the cool climate and pure soil of the mountains in a purely organic manner in the hilly areas. While larger arabis are called ‘Gaderi’, these smaller sized arabis are called ‘Pinallu’ or ‘Pungadi’. It is small, round or oval in shape. And the local people prepare it in a very tasty and nutritious way.
